Our client is a leading, long-established, forest products company. This is a diverse company with multiple wood products manufacturing operations and they are dedicated to long-term stewardship and sustainable management of its’ large timber resources. Here’s some background on the situation.
We need to replace a valued member of their Strategic Planning and Analysis Group who is leaving to take over management of his family’s business operations. We have been retained to find his replacement as a Senior Financial Analyst. This position works directly with both the CFO and COO and will have significant on-going interaction with operational leadership at the company’s manufacturing plants. The role has three core functional areas; budgeting and financial analysis, acquisition/divestiture analysis, and strategic planning.
We’re looking for an experienced financial analyst with an interest in optimizing operational excellence and performance. A strategic thinker who has good analytical skills combined with the ability to build strong relationships. We would love to find those skills and experience in wood products manufacturing. “M & A” experience would also be a plus. Someone excited about the opportunity to play a key strategic analysis role with a highly-respected, stable, financially-strong, company that continues to experience strong growth.
